Clean Kratom Wellness center was started in 2016 by our founder Faith Day. Since the start our our company, we have operated under one mission ; Transparency. 

Through the years of working as a Chef, Faith knew how important food safety is. She implemented traditional medicine knowledge, with modernized food safety procedures to form Clean Kratom. Over the last 6 years, the business has grown enormously from one to five locations in just a short time. With our deeper growing connections and participation in the Kratom village communities overseas, we aim to support the supply chain, and add legitimacy to the Kratom industry.

Our company was the first company in the United States to hold a processing license for manufacturing Kratom. Our GMP facilities are designed specifically around the manufacturing needs of Kratom. We currently hold 4 facilities, with two state level Department of Agriculture licenses from Oregon and Utah state.

 ALL of our manufacturing centers, are GMP Compliant, licensed food processing facilities , with temperature and humidity controlled environments using state-of-the-art machinery to process and blend your products.

Mitragyna speciosa is a tropical evergreen tree in the coffee family native to Southeast Asia. It is indigenous to Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Papua New Guinea, where it has been used in traditional medicines . However, due to market schemes beyond industry control, the concept of strains has become standard practice. While there are slight differences in alkaloid and nutrient levels, all kratom is the same. It is a green leaf,

with a variation of colorful stems. Red kratom , is the fermentation process applied to the traditional green leaves, and dried in the sun to obtain its rusty red color. 

What is Kratom and what strain should I pick?


The truth is there IS NO SUCH THING as Kratom strains. Farmers climb into trees , traditionally chop the tree in half, harvest the leaves, and clone the plant by re-harvesting the cut down portion next to the harvested to create a never ending, sustainable harvest practice.  If its not being harvested in the wild, its being grown in controlled farms that are essentially “Cash Crops”. The leaves are dried in different ways to create a red colored Kratom from oxidation. This type of “curing” process creates a chemical change on a molecular level producing different effects, but more research on this is needed.

How can you determine which is the best strain for your situation?

 Green Kratom is by far the most potent Kratom weʼve ever seen. Its teaming with Flavanoids, polyphenols and alkaloids when freshly picked and harvested. It truly is a miracle plant. White is still in debate. And honestly there really isnʼt a difference that can be verified by science. So no, there is no such thing as Maeng da, or borneo Kratom. Its all just massive amounts of Kratom being cured and shipped from multiple villages into economic centers like Pontianak for export. Clean Kratom Wellness Center decided to make custom blends that we call Maeng Da, Thai, and Borneo . Its our best, most potent product and we blend everything in house using pharmaceutical grade mixing machines. Where does Kratom come from?

All Kratom  purchased in the United States  comes from Indonesia. Not Thailand (yet), not Vietnam or Malaysia (its illegal there). Kratom  leaves are harvested from wild  trees in the jungle or from trees on privately owned land. There has been numerous studies on the composition of Kratom leaves harvested from various geographical locations with varying ages, but more research is needed. There are no such thing as different Kratom genetics, Most Kratom is farmed on private acreage, farms, or commercial growing operations. Wild Kratom is very hard to come by but possible if you are truly informed on the source.

HOW do I know what’s “good” Kratom?

All of the Kratom processed at our company, is lab tested for 7 alkaloids, 3 flavonoids, full panel microbial, and heavy metals. We use two incredible ISO labs located in Austin Texas and Denver Colorado . We have strict specifications to pass/fail all Kratom that comes through our facility. Potency charts are definitely important in choosing a Kratom product for your unique needs. The alkaloid content between each batch can vary significantly. Kratom contains over 40 known alkaloids, and we are just now able to begin testing for the presence of 6 other alkaloids, aside of the main two (Mitragynine and 7 OH - Mitragynine) In natural kratom leaf, Mitragynine (the main active ingredient) can range from 0.5% to 2.0%. ALWAYS be weary if someone is marketing Kratom with a Mitragynine level higher than 2.0, unless its listed as an extract. These levels are not present in natural, unadulterated Kratom. But good potency doesn't mean GOOD KRATOM. A good Kratom brand will show labs, answer questions, and operate by GMP standards. If your Kratom doesn't have a batch number, you can guarantee that product is not made in compliance with the law. GMP Kratom is SAFE KRATOM.

Good Manufacturing Practices or (GMP) are guidelines set forth by the FDA that implements a system of quality control measures to trace quality, identity, purity, and potency. By following GMP standards, we can accurately meet customer and regulatory agency's demand for safe, lab-tested Kratom products that are hard to find on the market. We work closely with local, federal and state regulatory agencies to ensure our products are being manufactured in a licensed contaminant free facility. We are the first Kratom Dispensary in the state of Oregon to hold a license from the Oregon Department of Agriculture for processing and retail. Both of our private manufacturing facilities have been designed specifically around Kratom so that we can lower the cost and pass the savings on to the consumer. Our website products are all manufactured in an AKA certified GMP Facility distributed worldwide.
